FCA Scholarship FAQs
Should everyone apply for a scholarship?
No, only those who would be unable to attend camp without financial aid should apply.
Where does the scholarship money come from?
FCA is a faith-funded ministry and all of the money necessary for the ministry to continue is raised locally. Most of the money comes from individuals like you.
Is the scholarship money wasted if no one applies for it?
No, it supports the ongoing local ministry of our staff to kids, coaches, and community; however, we make a 100% effort to give away 100% of all funds given to us for scholarships.
Do you give full scholarships?
Yes, first-year campers may receive a 100% scholarship, not including $20 non-refundable fee per camper or $50 non-refundable fee per family. Second-year campers may receive 75% off camp registration and third-year campers may receive 50% off camp registration, not including $20 non-refundable fee per camper or $50 non-refundable fee per family.
Is other scholarship money available?
Yes, many local churches are given FCA scholarships as well. The NE AL FCA team can help you make contact with these churches, if needed.
